Mount Damavand Trekking Tour

• Flight to Tehran
• Transfer to the hotel
• O/N: Tehran

Rineh Village

(2200 M)

• In the morning, drive around 2 to 3 hours to Rineh Village (2200 m)
• Explore the village to be more familiar with rural lifestyle and for the acclimatization process
• O/N: Guest house in Rineh

(3100 M)

• 2 hours trek to the southern base camp (3100 m high)Goosfandsara
• We’ll get to the beginning of the dirt road path (2500 m high) by Jeeps (4WD cars) in about 20 minutes OR trekking to improve the acclimatization process
• Have lunch in the basecamp and have rest.
• 2-hour trek up to 3700 meters. After descending to Goosfandsara (taking 1 hour), we end the day by having dinner and getting a good night’s sleep
• O/N: Tent/Room in Base Camp

(4200 M)

• start a 4-hour trek to Bargah-e Sevom hut (4200 m high)
• Arriving at the hut, settle in our tents/rooms, have a light meal for lunch
• The evening is allotted to resting and spending time on your own
• O/N: Tent/Room 

(4900 M)

• As the final acclimatization day, start a 5-hour long trek, consisting of 3 hours of ascending and 2 hours of descending
• Reach 4900 meters, almost as high as the location of Abshar E Yakhi (Damavand ice fall)
• After returning to the hut, have lunch, rest and prepare for summit day
• O/N: Tent/Room 

(5610 M)

• Time to reach the highest peak in Middle East in 6-hour trekking
• Start trekking at 5 AM, Continue the path to Abshare Yakhi
• Switch to the left, up to the triangular rock (almost 5350) known as Damavand fake summit, which is where we see sulfuric hills. At this point the only thing standing between us and the beautiful summit is a 1 hour trek.
• Standing on the peak of Mount Damavand, enjoy the view of Caspian Sea and take memorable photos
• Come back to Bargahe Sevom 
• O/N: Tent/Room 

Larijan Village

• Come back to Goosfand sara in 2 hours
• Take the Jeeps to Rineh Village and then to Larijan Village
• Take rest in Larijan Hot spa and relax after a hard journey
• O/N: Larijan

IKA Airport

• Drive back to Tehran
• Depends on your flight time, you can explore Tehran if you have enough time
• Drive to IKA Airport
