• Have lunch in a traditional restaurant. You can try local white fish served with stewed vegetables and cold appetizers. Another spectacular dish of Northern Iran is baghala ghatogh made with Rashti fava beans, dill, and eggs. It is usually served with Persian rice dish of northern provinces such as Gilan and Mazandaran.

Rasht

Anzali

• After breakfast, drive to Rasht thheaven of the food lovers
• Have lunch in a traditional restaurant. We suggest you try fesenjoon stew– one of the most famous dishes in the north of Iran, especially in Rasht. It is a stewed pomegranate puree with ground walnuts, chopped onions, and chunks of poultry or balls of ground meat. It is usually served with rice. The other no less tasty dish that is worth trying is Sour Kebab or Sour Chicken.
• In the afternoon, drive to Anzali. Here you will have a pleasant boat ride to the lagoon. During the tour, you will see beautiful sea birds and fishermen near the port.
